Dear Whanau, Just a few reminders / pieces of information: Sometimes if we feel it is too cold or the temperature of the pool has cooled down, we decide not to swim.  Yesterday I gave the children the option to keep their unused swimming bags at school for Thursday, so incase you thought they forgot them, they are safe and sound.  Reading books went home yesterday that were highlighted green in the orange homework book. This means that this is the first book that has gone home which we are hoping for your child to read independently or with just a little help. Remind them to use their finger spelling to sound out the words and sounds we have been working on in class.  We have also changed Nalu the dog day to Friday's which is because of business of Thursdays.  The children are feeling a little tired so please ensure a regular bedtime.  Friday is Library and Sausage Sizzle and Juicie day (These items are $1.50each). Take care in this wind and see you all soon, Nga mihi Mrs Trask
