Week 8 Term Three


 A huge warm welcome to our new KAKANO 8 children who start today. I look forward to welcoming you into our classroom.

Welcome to week 8. This week is Maori Language Week: "Kia kaha te Reo Māori" - Make the Māori language stronger.


We had a lovely 2 days back last week and the children all settled in so well.  We are very proud of how the children adjusted to level 2.  

A brief overview of level 2 at school for Kanao children.

*    Arrive at school between 8:45-9:00

*    School pick up between 2:45-2:55pm

*    NO PARENTS IN THE CLASS

*    Children need a water bottle

*    If your child is sick, please keep them home.

Wig Day 

The Young Vinnies fundraiser is going ahead on Friday,  Kids can wear a wig and bring a gold coin donation.  Funds going to Child Cancer, which is a charity very relevant to our school.  The children still need to wear school uniforms.
